Industrial Ribbon Blender is a strong mixer built to mix dry powders, granules and slightly wet materials until every part is the same. It has a U-shaped horizontal trough. A custom ribbon agitator pushes material one way - the other - the mix ends up even. The motor needs 20 HP at 60 Hz plus turns the shaft at 20 RPM. The outer frame measures 25 × 20 × 15 inches and weighs 25 kg - it fits into most plants. It handles one batch at a time, up to half of its internal volume, with repeat accuracy. Indian factories assemble the unit from long wearing parts - the surfaces stay clean but also wash down quickly. The machine suits chemicals, drugs, spices and plastics.
