Description

Industrial Ribbon Blender and Mixer blends powders and damp materials until they are evenly mixed. A U-shaped horizontal trough holds a central shaft with two helical metal ribbons that push the material in opposite directions. The motor needs 15 HP, turns the shaft at 36 RPM plus runs on 240 V at 60 Hz. The frame has a blue and silver painted finish that resists corrosion. The trough holds 1500 liters - one load serves pharmaceutical, chemical, food or related plants. The welded frame keeps the trough rigid - the ribbons scrape the walls so every particle moves. Operators lift the top lid, load a batch, close the lid, start the motor but also empty the trough through the bottom discharge after the set time. The blades give the same result each cycle and need only hosing and wiping between batches.
